Join us for a cruise along Surrey's beautiful
River Wey on board the 'Harry Stevens'. Named after the last owner of the Wey
Navigations, she is a familiar sight on the river and operates from Easter to
October for both public scheduled trips and for group bookings.
The trips offer the chance to see a variety of wildlife as well as a spectacular
view of the Guildford skyline, all whilst travelling through some of the most
attractive countryside Surrey has to offer. The on-board commentary allows you
to find out much more about the River and its history.
Cruises start from Guildford Boat House just along from the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre
- follow the brown signs. We do occasionally book larger groups for confirmed
trips, which can mean less space for other visitors. So if you are travelling
far to join us, it is worth phoning ahead to check the likely availability of
tickets.
If you would like to reserve your
seats to be sure of space, please telephone 01483 504494 on the morning of the trip.
The Harry Stevens is a purpose-built, open-sided craft giving the best view of the river and countryside. Roll-down blinds keep out the rain if we run out of luck with the weather. Capacity 60. The table below shows the three different trips we offer, along with a calendar of dates on which these cruises run.

Guildford Boat House reserves the right to change the schedule when necessary and without notice. A minimum of 10 paying passengers is required to operate a trip. We very much regret that owing to the design of our craft, they are not suitable for the accommodation of wheelchair bound passengers. This is due to space constraints and for reasons of safety and access. Please Note: No trips will run on Saturday 7 June 2008.
